Rating Types

The Rating type tells you the way a rate is going to be calculated. There are several types, such as ‘LS’ Lump Sum, or ‘%Freight’, percentage of Freight or W/M, which means the amount is going to be calculated as the higher of the two. They are fundamental at the time of rating the B/L’s. The rating types are officially standardized. They have been predefined and internally set to calculate in a particular manner.
