The members of the Caribbean Shipowners Association have reduced the level of the Bunker increase due to take effect Sunday, January 16, 2011. The new surcharge is a decrease of $60/TEU from the previously announced levels. It is applicable on Imports and Exports and will be assessed as follows:

The Bunker Surcharge is assessed in addition to all other charges, and applies to all tariff and service contract rates in the U.S. This increase will affect the following Southbound and Northbound services: between the United States and the Caribbean destinations of: Anguilla, Antigua, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, Saba, St Barths, St Eustatius, St Kitts & Nevis, St Lucia, St Maarten, St Vincent, Trinidad, Jamaica, Guyana and Suriname.
