SeaFreight celebrates Caribbean Heritage Month

The month of June in the United States is Caribbean Heritage Month and SeaFreight has been active in various events throughout the community celebrating the occasion along with various Caribbean organizations.
The Company was a sponsor of the Unifest celebration and concert held in Ft. Lauderdale recently which is one of the largest gatherings in the South Florida area
Celebrating Caribbean music, food and culture. Many members of the SeaFreight staff and friends attended and held “how to shipping workshops” for attendees.
The event was extremely well attended and the organizers were happy to have a true Caribbean shipping company involved.
Additionally the Company has again teamed up this year with Lalo Music Entertainment of Trinidad in providing logistic support services for the movement of Musical equipment and specially equipped Trucks for the various Mardi Gras type Caribbean Carnival’s that will be held during June and into the summer months in Miami, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, New York, Baltimore and Washington DC.
The Company was a Silver sponsor of the Caribbean American Business Expo held in Orlando June 10-12.
Besides having an exhibition Booth, one of the Company’s Vice Presidents of Sales, Ana Diaz, was a key panelist during a number of working sessions involving private, State and Federal officials all with an interest in improving trade between Florida and the Caribbean.
