Seafreight Line announces that the Demurrage / Detention Charges in Venezuela will increase effective August 12, 2012.

This increase is a result of the continuing escalation of operational costs in this trade lane and is applicable to all public and contract rates for dry and refrigerated cargo.

Increase in Venezuela is as follows:

Free Time:
7 calendar days/dry cargo
4 calendar days/reefer, Flat Rack and/or Open Top cargo

Thereafter:
USD 90.00 per day/20' dry
USD 100.00 per day/40' dry & 45' dry
USD 175.00 per day/20' reefer
USD 175.00 per day/40' reefer
USD 175.00 per day/20' Flat Rack and/or Open Top
USD 175.00 per day/40' Flat Rack and/or Open Top
