Transwestern's Thomas Kresse represented SeaFreight Agencies (USA) in the signing of a 149,000 square foot industrial lease in Doral.

SeaFreight Agencies (USA) has signed a new 148,750-square-foot, long-term lease for two affiliates at International Corporate Park in Doral, closing one of the largest industrial deals of the year.

As part of the transaction, SeaFreight Agencies (USA) will be the majority tenant in the freestanding building.

The property at 9950 N.W. 17th St. includes 16,000 square feet of office space, which SeaFreight Agencies (USA) will occupy in its capacity as General Managing Agent for SeaFreight Line Ltd along with it's related entity Seapack Inc. in late Summer 2013.

SeaFreight Agencies, a provider of cargo and shipping services, is expanding from its current 50,000 square foot location within Doral.

Transwestern's Walter Byrd and Ben Eisenberg, managing directors of the South Florida offices, Senior Vice President Thomas Kresse and associate Carlos Gaviria completed the transaction on behalf of the tenant.

Jones Lang LaSalle's Steve Medwin, managing director for South Florida, and VP Nick Wigoda were the exclusive brokers on behalf of the landlord, IndCor Properties.
